A thought instantly crossed my mind, reading this title and seeking similar patterns.

With all the accidents at junctions with traffic lights, why are we still so trusting and naive.

I believe it all has to do with evolution and adaptability.

I read a very interesting research paper, claiming that there are more accidents in regulated traffic areas. More signs and traffic lights, more accidents.

I call that ‘the curse of technology (over)use’.

So, should we be more trusting in humans? Yes, but we should not forget the ‘silence of the lambs lesson’, otherwise we will just be swinging from one extreme to the other.

Balance is key.
