Besides representing a fixed mindset (as opposed to growth mindset), I believe this forces you towards (hyper)specialization, narrowing your perspective and sense of a bigger picture.
I am not trying to explicitly advocate for generalization.

But in a way I am, because I believe in balance. And balance on its own, means to distance oneself from polarity or ‘chosing one side.’
