Circadian rythm drives our feeding patterns.
But we first need to eat right to even be able to sense correctly when to eat.
For example, when you don’t pack your stomach with carbo-hydrates before going to bed, you don’t wake up hungry and need to eat first. It is easy to have a (first) meal around noon.
Interestingly, many animals in nature can be seen feeding and then resting at that time (usually the warmest time) of the day.
It seems natural.
