I believe most ideas are not safe and unreplicable. Anyone can replicate them. The better the quality, the harder it is for others to do better and outdo you. Why wait for someone to beat you to it?

Any big player can buy you, run you over, or 'steal' your idea. Its success depends on where your focus is - on profit, security, or quality.
