Dunning-Kruger Effect.
I used to think that everyone was trying to trick everxone else into buying incomplete or dysfubctional products on purpose (capitalism and consumerism), but I later realized that behaviour is more consistent with ignorance, combined with arrogance (pure human stupidity). A kind of like ‘A road to hell is paved with good intentions.’
