I am on holidays in Croatia. And I have just witnessed how fishing companies trick people with ‘fresh’ fish.

I was having my morning coffee, observing fishboats offloading their cargo.

But there was something off. There were pallets of packed fish (I later realized it was all frozen).
They unloaded those pallets of fish off the truck loading them in sea water-filled tanks in the boat.

Those fish were not fresh but frozen. They loaded those into boats driving them arround and selling as fresh.

They used big rusty crane grabber to load them into boats. What felt on the pavement was just swept onto a showel and thrown in the boat tank.

And were sensitive about the hygiene in restaurants?
