I didn’t take it as you being provocative, but to provoke my deeper thinking, which I like. It makes me revise my ideas and perspectives.
The bat was an example that one does not have to look with eyes to perceive. I didn’t want to debate what bats (or blind men) can or cannot do.
Some wise men say that reality is within us, and what we see only a projection. What does that mean to a blind man?
Regarding my point about beauty being in the eye of beholder - I believe we decide what we like and what we don’t. Perhaps another proverb says it nicely - ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.’
