I knew that this statement will come up eventually. It is the indicator of not knowing the true value of diversity in people.

Nobody is ever 100% wrong! And sticking with winners only narrows your perspective and breadth.

You can learn a lot from losers and having loser friends is not bad by definition. We can learn a lot from (also others’) mistakes.

Another similar statement says you should socialize only with more succesful people than yourself.

?!? That leaves you only the most successful people in the world, because the less successful will (following this statement) not want to socialize with you.
