I know this seems very intangible but I can’t shake it off. And I will state it for the sake of debate and seeking a better perspective:
When you are ready to achieve your goal, no opinion can stop you from achieving your goal. When it does, you’re just not ready yet and still need to learn.

With regret you compare your situation with an imaginary one. All the detailed conditions required for that one are not (never) known to you.
