I like what Robert Greene wrote. But there were a few small details, small dots that bothered me in that picture.
We are social beings, anything we achive is ‘on shoulders of giants.’
Even the things we decide to do differently, depends on someone doing it (their way) before.

So yes, I feel what you mean. I guess that Robert was referring to some specific type of (lazy) dependency.
