I love the video.
The only thing that bothers me a bit is about Hokas.
I believe the effort and grit is about wanting to build yourself faster, not buying faster, more cushioned shoes.
The point I’m trying to make is that light, cushioned shoes are (a form of) a crutch.
Plastic, cushioned, and lighter weights would be a much more pleasant experience in the gym. But…
I don’t go to the gym to have a nice pleasant experience.
Only my perspective… ;)
