I recently got my draft edited from a writer friend on MEDIUM that was kind to help me brush it. How much do all those ‘thats,’ ‘ands,’ and other small details affect the flow of the article.

Some time ago a professional writer on MEDIUM also edited my carefully drafted piece.

I consider myself a very sensible person, but most of her comments were ‘sounds arrogant,’ although that was the farthest from my intention.

I have a huge challenge as English is not my native and cannot find a way to workaround.

Writing things based on your feeling and coming from a different language group makes me wonder if I will ever be able to overcome that obstacle.
