I’m not sure if I understood correctly. But it made think about visual sight as a projection device. That’s an interesting perspective to play with.
About the physically blind people, I’d think that in their case, reality is merely projected through other senses.
Blind people still ‘see’ the reality, perhaps even better, with less visual distractions.
One question: if you close your eyes and then hear a roaring lion, what do you ‘see’ in your mind?
Eyes are only a tool, a projection device.
