Interesting… How is that impossible?

From my perspective it is the most egotistical thing, actually (as funny as it may sound).

I can always gain more by focusing on helping others.

Because of all the cognitive biases it is actually easier to evaluate others’ situation and help them. And you get to learn something you can keep every single time — ‘The Toolbelt Principle.’

I actually do not believe in the saying ‘take care of yourself first’ anymore.

But I believe that it requires a non-conventional level of ego maturity.
