It looks like there is a way to hack the Dunning-Kruger effect. Some people never experience the drop. The effect's gravitational force is related to the 'weight' of one's head. More one is light-headed, the less impact the 'gravitational force' will have. It's like an 'air-filled balloon-head' protection.

First, we fall prey to the Dunning-Kruger Effect where a little information can make us over-confident. This overconfidence leads to the “I already know that” syndrome.
