@Nick: WoW, that’s a heavy statement for me.
I agree that healthy boundaries are fundamental for any relationship. But in most of my (professional life, especially) I witnessed extreme difficulties because of poor, ineffective communication.
Every statement I highlighted in your article is a sign of poor communication — as the cause; and, yes, often leading to even worse resulting communication. Most problems I have experienced can be traced to poor, ineffective communication that leaves too much space for subjective interpretation.
I fail to understand your claim that poor communication IS NOT (or is rarely) the cause.
What am I missing?
