No., but I think our organism is adapting to the environment/change. We just have to let it do its stuff. That doesn't mean to sit back and relax, but to support our body (instead of control it). Lymphatic system, for example.

By ‘packaging’ I was more referring to turning food into packaging by processing it.

We destroy the essential micronutrients by (mostly thermal) processing. The meat that carries micronutrients is only the carrier — the ‘container’/’packaging’.

By processing we destroy micronutrients and leave our body to bother with the ‘containers’/’packaging’ (which requires even more micronutrients to degrade and remove out of the body).

So we create a big micronutrient deficiency. A good example are studies on fat people. Numerous autopsies showed fat people with their organs displaying signs of starving.
