"OMG! Why Am I Still Seeing Drivers Using Their Cell Phone While Driving"

Thanks for sharing this article. It provoked some thoughts in me. I have an interesting perspective to answer this:

That technology is still (too) young to be seen for its true worth and place in society. You/we are early adopters of the idea that phones (in traffic) do some serious damage. And, according to sytems theory and Rogers' 'Diffusion of Innovations', we are early adopters, and society still need some more time and real experience to notice that using phones IS (not can be) bad for them.
