That’s a very interesting point to ponder on.
Why not? What does our individual consciousness represent? What is it? Do we actually create something, or does something, already existent just transfer or change form?
It seems similar to thinking about destroying energy - energy cannot be destroyed. But (especially if we consider material things to be a form of energy) neither can material things be destroyed. They only disintegrate, change form.
What does survive mean in this context? I’m trying to make a picture. Consciousness can: change form or transfer to another form (of ‘host’?).
The predisposition to beeing able to survive would be: can it be born? Or did it just change form or ‘host’?
