This one just got me thinking… ‘could be’ (or not).
So, it’s not granted. But what is granted?

This is like with money and success. If money is my goal, I am misaligning my focus.

Money is not a cause but a consequence of success. I need to focus what causes success.
Growth and improvement should be my goal.

They say that we must adjust (or lower) our expectations to be less disappointed. Disappointment is just an inner decision, based on set expectations.

But here, the goal should not be a ‘big breakthrough’ but growth and improvement, and getting your message through. If you grow and improve (enough) consequences are unavoidable.
