This one reminds me about a few other phenomena that actually, when observed from their perspective makes (more) sense.
In certain nomadic societies (Aborigines and Eskimos) there are known phenomena - gerontocide and infantocide.
Those seem horrific but appear much more reasonable and humane, when properly observed (from their perspective).
And I think, seriously, where is the line one can draw.
I fully agree with you, I just cautiously wonder when I might be crossing that line by judging others.
Because I am not sure when/whether there is an ideological or some valid (survival) reason behind others’ atrocious behavior.
Again, I am not trying to defend any ideology. I am just trying to broaden my perspective. And I am very grateful for that inception.
Thanks!
