With the best intentions in mind, I believe you were exactly where you needed to be. Not wanted, but needed.
I was there (not once), too. And God (within me or above) gave me the experience I needed to learn the lesson and grow from it.
Hmm, perhaps that is what the legend (or analogy) of Phenix means - we all rise from our mistakes.
Anyway, what I believe to be one of the most important personal lessons (for anyone) to grow, is to realize the difference between Steelmanning and Strawmanning, and finding benefits in our differences (You read my article on boosting intelligence).
Having read your first (not today) comment was a bit of pain to accept - so different. But when I accepted and explored it, my perspective improved.
